Seniors

All Seniors must complete the FAFSA.

Each student and one parent/guardian will need to create an FSA ID- https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch

After you each have an FSA ID, each student and parent/guardian will need to fill out their part of the FAFSA- https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa

If you are not planning to go to a University, Community College, or Trade School after high school, you can fill out a FAFSA waiver. Talk to your counselor to see the best option for you. 

Students must earn a certain number of credits.

- On TOPS University, students must earn 24 credits: 4 English, 4 Math, 4 Science (Biology, Chemistry, 2 additional) 4 Social Studies, 1.5 PE, 0.5 Health, 2 Foreign Languages, 1 Art, 3 electives. 

- On Jumpstart TOPS TECH, students must earn 23 credits: 4 English, 4 Math, 2 Sciences (Biology, 1 additional), 2 Social Studies (Civics, American History), 1.5 PE, 0.5 Health, 9 electives in Pathway.  

Students must pass the courses needed for graduation. Your counselor will call you in before the end of the 1st 9 weeks to go over what you need to graduate.

Students must pass one LEAP 2025 test from each of the groups: 

English I OR English II

Algebra I OR Geometry 

Biology I OR US History 

Students who have not met the graduation requirement for LEAP 2025 will retest at the end of the Fall 2022 semester. If students do not pass one in each of the 3 categories, they will not be eligible for graduation.

Under the Leap 2025 Practice click Online Tools Training--> Leap 2025 High School --> Standard Online Tools--> Choose your subject area--> Put in username and password they give you. 

 

Students on the Jumpstart Track must earn credentials for their Pathway. 

Hospitality-

Must pass Micro-Enterprise (state)

OR

Micro-enterprise (regional) and two complementary (Customer Service, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Office Powerpoint, Microsoft Office Word, WorkKeys Silver) 

Carpentry- Must pass Carpentry Level 1 

Health Sciences - Must pass EMR (certification in First Responder)
