How to Create your FSA ID

The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is used to determine a student's eligibility for state and school financial aid, and some private financial aid providers may use your FAFSA information to determine whether you qualify for their aid. All seniors are required to complete the FAFSA as a part of graduation requirements.

Step 1: Create an FSA ID. This must be done by both student and parent.

Create an account

Step 2: Complete the FAFSA. The 24-25 FAFSA soft launch is available now. There may be times when the website pauses. If this happens to you, exit the website and return later to complete the FAFSA form.
